HCM & Operations Analyst
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
Compensation: $100,000 base + bonus + excellent benefits
Our client, a growing global investment management firm, is seeking an HCM & Operations Analyst to join its Human Capital team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HRIS or HR Operations professional who enjoys working with employee data, reporting, HR systems, and process improvement. The role offers direct exposure to Workday and other HR technologies while partnering closely with HR stakeholders to support the employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build expertise in HR systems, reporting, and HR operations. This role is well-suited for someone coming from an HR Coordinator, HR Operations, HRIS, People Operations, or Talent Operations background who is looking to grow their career within a sophisticated and expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day administration of HR systems and employee data processes
- Process and audit employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and terminations
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with internal governance standards
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support HR, leadership, and business stakeholders
- Assist with employee onboarding and workforce data management activities
- Partner with HR team members to support annual talent initiatives, performance cycles, compensation activities, and organizational updates
- Research and resolve employee and manager inquiries related to HR systems and data
- Participate in data validation, testing, and system enhancement initiatives
- Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, People Operations, Talent Operations, or a related area
- Exposure to Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors, or similar HR systems preferred
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
