Hospital Chief Human Resource Officer
We’re working with a national healthcare network in their efforts to hire a Hospital Chief Human Resource Officer based in Detroit, MI. This Executive will manage a staff of 2 HR business partners and have the support of the company’s HR Centers of Excellence. The client group consists of 2,300 employees working across 1 facility with a total of 225 beds. The employee population consists of unionized and non-unionized staff and this role will support a mix of clinical and non-clinical populations. This position reports to a hospital CEO.
Our client is seeking candidates with minimally 10 years of HR leadership experience in a comparable hospital or ambulatory care setting and is open to considering candidate from for-profit or non-profit clinical environments. Experience working in a unionized environment is required, albeit having leveraged a labor relations center of excellence for support with contract negotiations and complex disputes. Prior team management experience is critical. Employee relations, learning and development, as well as experience managing all aspects of the HR service delivery cycle will be core experience required for this role. This position will sit onsite across 1 regional facility 5 days per week.
