People Advisor
Our client is an established and growing retail business with a strong presence across the UK and international markets. They are looking for a People Advisor on a temporary basis to join their collaborative, non‑hierarchical, and entrepreneurial team. The role will have a strong Employee Relations focus and will require somebody who is immediately available and able to be in their London office 3 days a week.
About the Role
As a People Advisor you will provide high‑quality generalist people support across the UK. Working closely with managers and the wider People team, primarily with low – mid level Employee Relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and employment law matters.
- Working independently on cases to support the team
- Contribute to the improvement of people policies, processes, and annual people cycles.
About You
You are an approachable, practical, and resilient People professional who enjoys working close to the business. You’ll have had experience in a People Advisor role previously and are comfortable working at pace and helping to advise senior stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a People Advisor or generalist HR role with strong ER exposure.
- Confidence partnering with managers and providing pragmatic people advice.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid understanding of HR systems and processes.
