Resource Management Specialist
We’re partnering with a leading professional services organisation to hire a Resource Management/staffing & Professional Development Specialist to support a dynamic consultant population in a fast-paced, commercial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 years+ staffing, resource management, workforce planning, or talent deployment experience who enjoys building relationships and influencing business outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the day-to-day staffing and deployment of consultants across client engagements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and employees to understand development needs, career aspirations, and project requirements.
- Provide staffing recommendations that balance business priorities with employee development.
- Monitor resource capacity, utilisation, and project demand.
- Support performance and professional development processes, including promotions, reviews, onboarding, and talent planning.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for your consultant population and wider business stakeholders.
About you
- 2 years minimum experience in staffing, resource management, workforce planning, talent deployment, recruitment operations, or a similar people-focused role.
- Experience within a mid-sized to global consultancy, professional services firm, or other fast-paced commercial environment is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance people and business needs.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach.
