We are currently working with an incredibly well-respected, mid-sized law firm in the City, who have great reputation for both their legal work and as a place to work, to find them a new Reward Manager.

This is a permanent role, working hybrid in their London (City) offices, leading the Reward function and responsible for managing the Reward Assistant.

As the Reward Manager you will be responsible for reviewing, improving, and managing all activities pertaining to reward, benefits, and HR data analytics. Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with the HRBPs and other key stakeholders, you will be called upon to provide valuable insight for the firm, considering such things as current and changing relevant legislation, external best practice, and working to make sure that recommendations are commercially beneficial to the firm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a standalone Reward Manager looking to be part of growing team and take on a direct report, or even an experienced and confident Reward Advisor/Compensation & Benefits Analyst looking to take that step-up to Reward Manager.

Duties will include;

  • Overseeing all element of reward, such as salary benchmarking, the bonus scheme, impacts of global mobility, and reporting on the gender pay gap
  • Overseeing the staff and partners benefits
  • Provide advice to line management in relation to the design and implementation of benefit changes including areas such as incentive schemes, pensions, and medical cover as appropriate
  • Management of the salary review, looking at the process and finding ways to streamline it
  • Responsible for the annual renewal, benchmarking and day-to-day management of all UK and international benefits
  • Guide and advise the stakeholders to ensure that key messages are delivered and that reward decisions are consistent and fair across all areas of the firm
  • Managing the Reward Assistant and taking responsibility for their growth and development
  • Analysing and reporting on captured data relating to salaries, bonuses, and benefits including D&I
  • Coordinate payroll with external providers

What they are looking for is an experienced Reward Manager with strong, strategic analytical ability and advanced Excel. They will also consider Reward Advisors/Analysts looking to step up into the lead role within an organisation who demonstrate the requisite ability and potential.

Ideal candidates will have experience gained in a law firm, but they will consider candidates from other partnership or professional services environments.
