Interim Employee Relations Manager / Senior ER Advisor

An established organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Employee Relations professional to support through a period of increased ER demand. This assignment would suit a confident, hands‑on ER specialist who is comfortable working at pace and providing practical support to line managers.
The Assignment
- Managing a busy Employee Relations caseload, including grievances, sickness absence, capability, and performance issues
- Acting as an additional senior resource alongside an ER Manager during peak periods
- Providing pragmatic ER advice to a range of stakeholders
- Coaching and supporting line managers, including those newer to people management
- Supporting ER activity linked to TUPE and performance cycles
- Contributing to policy development and review, particularly within Corporate Services
Candidate Profile
- A strong ER generalist with experience in a medium or large organisation
- Comfortable handling high volumes and complex, sensitive issues
- A collaborative, coaching‑led approach with excellent stakeholder skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and confident operating in a change‑driven environment
- Employment Tribunal exposure beneficial, though not essential
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employee relations specialist looking for a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role in a fast‑moving environment.
