We are conducting a confidential search for a Regional Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function across the Asia‑Pacific region for a top‑tier global legal MNC.
This is a senior leadership role, partnering closely with regional and global leadership to drive the people strategy in a high‑performance, partnership‑led environment. The role combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands‑on operational leadership across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted adviser to Partners and senior leadership on all HR‑related matters.
- Lead the development and execution of regional HR strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, rewards, succession planning, and employee relations.
- Manage complex and sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgement.
- Lead and develop regional HR teams, ensuring consistent and high‑quality HR delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulatory requirements across the region.
- Partner with global HR colleagues on firmwide initiatives and projects.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive senior‑level HR experience within a leading law firm or comparable high‑end professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience advising Partners and senior stakeholders in a partnership model.
- Strong knowledge of Asia‑Pacific employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Highly commercial, discreet, and credible at the most senior levels.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate, with flexibility for regional travel.
