Overview

A senior individual contributor role supporting complex client engagements across compensation strategy, analytics, and advisory work. This position partners closely with senior leadership to deliver high-quality insights, manage multiple workstreams, and contribute to both client delivery and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of analytical workstreams across executive pay, performance alignment, and reward design
  • Translate complex data into clear, client-ready materials including presentations, reports, and recommendations
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are delivered to a high standard
  • Support senior stakeholders in client engagements, contributing to discussions and shaping strategic recommendations
  • Build a strong understanding of client organizations, including business performance and compensation structures
  • Conduct detailed benchmarking and market analysis using a variety of external data sources
  • Review and validate external data inputs, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy of analysis
  • Contribute to development of new business opportunities through research, proposals, and supporting materials
  • Support thought leadership efforts, including written content and market insights
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards across all deliverables

Profile

  • Strong experience in compensation consulting or a comparable advisory environment
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation, including benchmarking, incentive design, and pay-for-performance alignment
  • Solid grounding in financial analysis and business performance metrics
  • Familiarity with regulatory and governance considerations related to compensation programs
  • Advanced analytical capability, including working with large datasets and complex models
  • Highly proficient in Excel, presentations, and data tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy

Experience

  • Background in consulting, advisory, or in-house compensation roles within complex organizations
  • Relevant academic foundation in business, economics, finance, or similar
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
