Reward & Pay Transparency Lead

As they continue to stand out in the global entertainment landscape, they are now seeking a Reward & Pay Transparency Lead to join their high-performing reward team. Reporting into the Head of Reward, this newly-created, permanent role will lead the global strategy for job architecture, levelling, pay benchmarking, and pay transparency compliance. Operating as a SME, you will ensure consistent frameworks and market-competitive practices are deployed across regions. You will also support reward planning, M&A integration, and regulatory compliance particularly with evolving EU and international legislation, while engaging with senior leadership at both local and group level. The business is keen to meet reward professionals from either in-house or consulting backgrounds.
Key duties:
- Develop and maintain the WTW-aligned job levelling framework, policy documents, and gender-neutral evaluation tools.
- Equip HR teams with robust tools and training for job matching and pay analysis.
- Lead benchmarking initiatives across territories, staying alert on market trends and practices.
- Design and maintain competitive pay ranges and provide actionable pay analysis templates.
- Align frameworks with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, including job matching methodology, reporting templates, and gender-neutral criteria.
- Partner with local HR teams to support pay gap analysis, reporting, and engagement with employee representatives.
- Integrate compliance into recruitment practices (e.g., pay range disclosure, no salary history questions), progression criteria, and contract policies.
- Monitor legislative developments across EU member states and update internal guidance accordingly.
Candidate profile:
Proven experience as a Reward Partner or Consultant, with expertise in:
- Job evaluation and levelling
- WTW benchmarking methodology
Solid understanding of:
- Pay range design principles
- Reward planning and data analysis
Deep knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive, including:
- Gender pay reporting
- Employee rights
- Pay range disclosure
- Progression transparency
Strong analytical capabilities, including:
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to:
- Work at pace
- Prioritise tasks
- Adapt in a fast-moving environment
In addition to the above, experience collaborating with legal, HR, and leadership teams in complex matrix environments to translate regulatory requirements into practical frameworks and guidance is essential. As is the ability to communicate complex reward and compliance frameworks in a clear, engaging, and transparent manner. Familiarity with reward implications in M&A contexts would be beneficial. Finally, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach and influence effectively is required. This is role is ideal for a reward consultant looking to transition into an in-house role, or a senior reward partner already working in-house but with a passion for refining grading and levelling frameworks, whilst being part of a wider high-performing reward function.
