Please join us on Wednesday 9 June 2021 at 8.30am BST/9.30am CEST for our panel discussion on „The Future of Reward”. In a year that has seen a huge shift in our working lives, we consider whether employee expectations have changed and if businesses need to consider how they compensate. The panel, made up of leading HR professionals, will discuss their observations and how they are adapting to the changing expectations.

Our panel will include:


Yvonne Prang, Senior Director Global Rewards Center of Excellence at McDonald’s

​Yvonne Prang started her career at Siemens, moving on then to consultancies like PwC and Kienbaum and later developing her career as a Senior Manager in Compensation & Benefits at Infineon Technologies. For the last 13 years she has been working in Comp. & Ben. at McDonald´s, where she currently holds the position of Senior Director Global Rewards CoE in Munich, leading a team of Rewards professionals across all 19 McDonald´s operated markets outside of US.

John Beadle, Global Head of Performance and Reward at ABB

John is Global Head of Performance and Reward at ABB, operating mainly in robotics, electrical and automation technology. John’s portfolio includes board and executive reward, employee reward (e.g. grading, variable pay, share incentive planning), benefits, and international mobility.   

He has over twenty years experience in reward and human resource management in the financial, consumer goods, information technology and pharmaceutical industries.  He has previously worked in a variety of international HR roles in GSK, HSBC, IBM, Reckitt Benckiser, Rio Tinto and Standard Chartered Bank. He is a former Vice President, Reward for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and was made a Companion of the Institute in 2010. He is also a Fellow of the Bridewell Royal Hospital. He is a visiting lecturer at London School of Economics, Warwick Business School, and Lucerne University.

Melanie Hick Martin, International Rewards, Performance & Mobility Director at Cartier

Melanie’s educational and academic background is in Social Psychology, Business Studies and Human Resources Management. She started her career at Nestlé, where she worked for several years both in the Multinational’s Headquarters in Switzerland as well as in Markets such as Mexico, always in HR roles in the areas of Talent Management, Organizational Development and later on in the Rewards function. Since 2018, she has worked at Cartier, which is part of the Richemont Group, as International Rewards and HR Performance Director. 

Sven Slavenburg, Head of Global Rewards at Philips

Sven has over 25 years of senior level rewards experience working for world leading multinationals. After graduating from the Technical University in Delft, he began his career as a consultant specialized in Compensation and Benefits working for companies such as AWVN and Aon Hewitt. After that he spent the longest tenure of his career at Willis Tower Watson and was their Western European Practice Lead for Executive Compensation before joining Philips in 2019. ​
