André is a highly experienced HR and reward leader whose career spans two decades across several sectors. Currently a Director at EY, he brings deep expertise in strategic reward. He has previously worked at PwC, Automattic, HSBC and other organizations from global corporations to start-ups. Across his career he has covered the full breadth of HR, and he is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. His work has consistently focused on aligning people strategy with business transformation, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and inclusive practices.

Beyond his corporate roles, André is dedicated to governance and social impact. He is currently a Co-opted Member of the Remuneration and Strategic Reward Committees at Lancaster University, and a Founding Trustee of the Independent Federation for Safeguarding.

Gillian Thomson

Gillian is a highly accomplished reward and people analytics leader with over 20 years of experience across financial services, regulatory bodies, and professional services. Currently Head of Reward, HRIS and People Analytics for the UKIME region at Dentons, she leads the development of integrated reward strategies and data-driven insights that support talent and business growth.

Before joining Dentons, Gillian held senior reward roles at Lloyds Banking Group, where she led reward for both the Insurance, Pensions & Investment division and the Embark Group. She spent over a decade at the Royal Bank of Scotland, progressing through a series of increasingly senior roles including Reward Consulting Practice Manager and Benefits Manager.

Known for her analytical precision, strategic thinking, and collaborative leadership style, Gillian is passionate about mentoring early-career professionals and helping them navigate the evolving landscape of reward.

Paviter Singh Mahal

Paviter is a rising star in the reward space, with a career that reflects both depth in compensation analytics and breadth across financial services. Currently Compensation Manager at ICG, he leads on compensation strategy and delivery for a global investment firm, bringing a sharp analytical lens and a strong understanding of market dynamics.

Prior to joining ICG, Paviter served as Global Investments Compensation Lead at OMERS, where he supported compensation planning and governance across international investment teams. His earlier roles include Reward and Systems Consultant at Cinven, and EMEA Compensation Associate at BlackRock, where he developed expertise in benchmarking, data modelling, and compensation operations.

Outside of his corporate career, Paviter serves as a Justice of the Peace with the Ministry of Justice UK, demonstrating a commitment to public service and ethical leadership.
