About the role:

As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and executing our global rewards strategy. Your mission is to ensure our teams across regions benefit from competitive, wellstructured packages that meet both employee expectations and legal standards. From mobility benefits and retirement plans to insurance and flexible compensation elements, you’ll oversee the full spectrum. You’ll also serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, helping balance business goals with employee satisfaction.

Your role:

In this position, you’ll lead the rollout of our international compensation and benefits framework. You’ll collaborate with teams in countries such as Germany, Denmark, and Belgium, with potential expansion into other regions. Your expertise will support strategic initiatives like aligning employment terms across borders. This role is both strategic and hands-on- you’ll ensure compliance while also driving innovation and value creation for our workforce. You’ll be a key partner to internal teams, contributing to solutions that reflect our global ambitions.

Your responsibilities include:

* Rolling out compensation programs: You’ll manage and execute a variety of reward initiatives-from base pay and incentives to mobility perks. You’ll ensure these programs are attractive, equitable, and compliant with local tax and labor laws. You’ll also bring experience in structuring packages for flexible workers, students, and zero-hour contracts.

* Advising on reward structures: You’ll collaborate with HR and leadership to design compensation packages that attract top talent while staying within budget. Your insights will help shape our approach to total rewards.

* Maintaining employment terms: You’ll keep our employment conditions relevant and competitive. Whether it’s pay, retirement benefits, or other perks, you’ll manage everything from initial modeling to final communication-especially for employees with non-standard contracts.

* Policy development and execution: You’ll help translate strategic goals into actionable policies that are both compliant and impactful.

* Market benchmarking and role evaluation: You’ll monitor market trends to ensure our pay structures remain competitive. You’ll analyze roles and adjust compensation frameworks as needed, including for flexible and student workers.

* Data-driven improvements: You’ll analyze compensation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, ensuring our programs evolve with employee needs and business priorities.

* Cross-functional collaboration: You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal on projects that influence the broader organization. Your expertise will guide the development and refinement of compensation strategies.

Your profile:

You know how to build reward programs that make employees feel valued while staying aligned with legal and financial frameworks. Experience with international compensation structures and crossborder legislation is a strong advantage. You’re comfortable working in cross-functional teams and enjoy contributing to projects that drive real change. Familiarity with tools like Workday is a plus, and your advanced Excel skills make you the go-to person for complex modeling and analysis. You’re analytical, proactive, and enthusiastic. You work well independently and use your strong communication skills to build relationships across the organization. Experience with employment law in Germany and Belgium is a bonus, helping you navigate the nuances of a multi-country environment. Finally, your understanding of flexible work arrangements-such as student jobs and zero-hour contracts-is essential. You know how to design fair and transparent compensation models that reflect the diversity of our workforce.

You also bring:

* A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field

* Around 4 years of experience in a similar role

* Strong command of English; Dutch and German are a plus.
