Location: New York, NY
In Office Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits
Our client is a global organization with a significant international presence and a highly collaborative culture. As the business continues to evolve and grow, they are seeking an experienced HR Regional Manager to partner with senior leadership and help drive the people strategy across a diverse workforce.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with operational execution. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders, oversee key people initiatives, and lead a regional HR team while helping drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent strategies.
The role offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence business and people decisions across multiple countries and functions.
As the HR Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with business and regional leadership to develop and execute people strategies
- Leading workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
- Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational and people-related matters
- Driving organizational effectiveness, transformation, and change management initiatives
- Managing employee relations matters and fostering a positive employee experience
- Supporting performance management programs and organizational development efforts
- Ensuring compliance with employment regulations and mitigating organizational risk
- Leading HR operations and partnering with global HR functions to align regional priorities
- Overseeing internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
- Managing and developing a regional HR team while promoting collaboration across functions and locations
Key requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience operating at the HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner, Head of HR, or equivalent level
- Background within financial services, technology, fintech, professional services, or similarly complex global organizations preferred
- Strong experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing organizational strategy
- Proven ability to balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution
- Strong employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and change management expertise
- Experience leading teams within a matrixed or multinational environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
- Approachable leadership style with the ability to navigate sensitive situations professionally and discreetly
