Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Staffing Coordinator to lead full-cycle recruiting and workforce coordination for a high-volume staffing program supporting multiple operational locations.
This role is responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified talent, coordinating workforce scheduling, and ensuring critical business functions remain continuously staffed. Working closely with operational leaders, you’ll make strategic placement decisions that improve employee retention, reduce staffing gaps, and support daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume operational positions.
- Source candidates using a variety of recruiting channels, including job boards, referrals, community partnerships, and networking.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
- Coordinate background screenings, employment verification, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
Workforce Coordination
- Coordinate staffing assignments to support changing operational demands.
- Schedule employees to provide coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs, including vacations, leaves of absence, call-outs, and vacancies.
- Maintain workforce schedules and monitor employee availability.
- Communicate regularly with operational leaders to understand staffing priorities and workforce needs.
Strategic Candidate Placement
- Evaluate candidates beyond technical qualifications by considering work style, communication skills, reliability, adaptability, and long-term potential.
- Match employees to assignments where they are most likely to succeed based on operational needs and team dynamics.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify candidates who demonstrate strong potential for permanent employment.
- Monitor assignment success and support the transition of high-performing temporary employees into permanent opportunities when appropriate.
Workforce Planning
- Develop and maintain a ready pipeline of qualified talent capable of supporting immediate staffing needs.
- Anticipate hiring demands by monitoring workforce trends, staffing levels, and turnover.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, strengthen candidate quality, and reduce time-to-fill.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that enhance workforce planning and overall staffing effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in recruiting, staffing, workforce coordination, or talent acquisition.
- Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.
