Temporary HR Manager
Job Title: HR Manager (Spanish-Speaking)
Location: OH 43035
Work Schedule: 4-5 days onsite per week
Start Date: ASAP
Pay rate: $45-$50 per hour
Duration: Initial contract (1-2 months) with potential for permanent hire
Summary:
Our client, a confidential, vertically integrated apparel company with a long-standing presence in the industry is seeking an experienced HR Manager who is fluent in Spanish (ideally a native speaker or fluent conversationally) and has a solid background in manufacturing environments. This role will be based onsite at our facility in OH, and will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, and workforce engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and Spanish-speaking employees to ensure effective communication.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure alignment with labor laws and company standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions professionally.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of HR activities.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish (native speaker preferred or fluent conversationally).
- Proven HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite 4-5 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
