Frazer Jones is delighted to be retained by a leading global financial services group to appoint a Head of HR APAC (MD), based in Singapore, as a key and trusted member of both the regional and global HR leadership team.

Partnering closely with the Global Chief Human Resources Officer, as a core member of the regional and global leadership team, this individual will have full accountability for the APAC HR BP and Advisory agenda, leading the Regional HR Business Partnering function alongside broader critical regional HR Centres of Excellence.

The role provides strategic counsel to the APAC CEO’s leadership team across all major business lines (predominantly front office) and international markets, during a period of sustained global investment, growth, and transformation. Partnering closely with global counterparts, the role will shape and deliver people strategies fully aligned to the organisation’s commercial priorities and long‑term objectives.

This is a high‑profile, enterprise‑critical leadership role, operating at the most senior levels of the organisation. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with regional Executive Committee members, business heads, and global HR leaders to deliver high‑performance outcomes within a complex, highly matrixed, international environment.

The group operates in a fast‑paced, high‑touch, and heavily regulated global financial services context. As such, the role requires a leader who can seamlessly balance strategic vision with hands‑on HR leadership and advisory capability, supported by a strong regional team. The remit spans end‑to‑end HR BP delivery, including senior stakeholder advisory, executive talent and succession, performance and rewards governance, organisation design, leadership development, culture, and transformation.

A critical success factor will be the ability to credibly influence, challenge, and partner senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor while driving consistent, best‑in‑class HR practices across APAC. The role will work in lockstep with global HR leadership across other regions, operating as part of one integrated global HR team. Demonstrable experience leading regional and global HR agendas through periods of business and workforce change within a front‑office, revenue‑generating environment will be essential.

The ideal candidate will be an established Regional or Global HR Leader, currently operating at Managing Director or equivalent level, with a strong track record within a major international financial services institution. They will bring deep commercial acumen, sophisticated HR expertise, and the presence and credibility required to operate effectively with Boards, CEOs, and senior executives. Experience leading seasoned, high‑performing teams of Directors and SVPs across multiple international markets is essential.
