Reward Associate (6-Month FTC)
Reward Associate (6-Month FTC)
London | Potential to Become Permanent | 85k
We’re partnering with a highly regarded global investment organisation to appoint a Reward Associate on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with compensation, reward or HR analytics experience to join a growing function at an exciting stage of its development.
Reporting into the Compensation Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting reward activities across approximately 250 employees spanning multiple international locations. With the organisation’s reward framework having undergone significant transformation in recent years, this role will be central to ensuring a smooth and successful year-end compensation cycle while supporting the ongoing evolution of the function.
This is a hands-on, analytically focused position that would suit someone who enjoys working with data, compensation processes and market insights, rather than a heavily stakeholder-facing HR role.
The Opportunity
You’ll support the delivery of annual salary and bonus reviews, undertake compensation analysis and market benchmarking, maintain reward data and systems, and contribute to compensation governance activities. You’ll work closely with colleagues across HR while gaining exposure to executive compensation, global reward programmes and the inner workings of a sophisticated international investment business.
The role has been created to provide additional support during a busy period and there is genuine potential for the position to develop into a longer-term opportunity following the initial contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the annual compensation review process, including salary reviews, bonus planning and data validation.
- Producing compensation analysis and reporting to support reward decisions.
- Conducting market benchmarking and pay competitiveness analysis.
- Participating in compensation surveys and maintaining market data.
- Supporting annual incentive and bonus programme administration.
- Maintaining compensation systems, job architecture and reward data.
- Preparing reports, dashboards and management information.
- Supporting compensation governance, controls and compliance activities.
- Assisting with process improvements, automation and reporting enhancements.
- Providing compensation-related support and information to HR stakeholders.
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Approximately 2-5 years‘ experience within Compensation, Reward, HR Analytics, HR Operations, Finance or a similar analytical discipline.
- Experience supporting salary reviews, bonus processes or broader reward activities.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with confidence handling large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach.
- The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
Experience within financial services, investment management, private capital or asset management environments would be particularly advantageous, although not essential.
Why Apply?
- Opportunity to join a respected global investment organisation.
- Broad exposure across compensation, reward analytics and governance.
- Significant involvement in a high-profile year-end reward cycle.
- Work directly with senior compensation leadership.
- Exposure to international compensation programmes across multiple countries.
- Genuine potential for the position to evolve into a permanent opportunity.
- Competitive salary expected in the region of £85,000+ pro rata, depending on experience.
If you’re a reward professional who enjoys working with compensation data, market insights and reward programmes in a fast-paced international environment, we’d love to hear from you.
