Head of HR Programmes
My client is looking for a senior HR generalist with sound project experience for a permanent Head of HR Programmes appointment based in Edinburgh.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in the future success of the business through the delivery of concurrent, large-scale people-related projects.
As Head of HR Programmes, key accountabilities will include:
- Working closely with Operations Leaders and HR CoE’s to ensure consistency & joined-up approach.
- Large scale change and transformation projects across a variety of areas including Org Design, Resourcing, Training.
- Engaging stakeholders central to the success of specific projects including SLT, managers, core workforce and HR.
- Engaging with the SMEs, managing the accountabilities of stakeholders and deadlines.
- Presenting to the SLT on progress, providing reports and presentations to a broad audience, to inform and engage them with the initiatives/project updates.
- Engaging with Unions.
To be considered for this role you will be a strong senior HR business partner with a generalist background (to include the core areas of HR such as resourcing, org design, engagement, talent etc) with proven experience of large-scale transformation and HR projects (as an HRBP or in a dedicated HR project role).
You will be adept at partnering & influencing senior leaders up to c-suite with the ability to navigate complex structures and understand the appropriate levers and the ability to work at a strategic level.
This role will suit a communicative senior HR professional with a high level of EQ and commercial acumen and an understanding of the local market, used to working in a complex unionised environment going thru a period of change.
Experience in manufacturing/industrial sectors is key.
Salary up to £100k per annum plus bens.
This is a hybrid role with 3/4 days onsite therefore you will need to live within a commutable distance of Edinburgh.
