A leading City law firm is seeking an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join its collaborative HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some HR or administrative experience who is looking to develop a career in HR within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, contract extensions and leaver administration.
  • Manage absence records, monitor documentation and ensure HR systems remain up to date.
  • Provide recruitment support, including job postings, interview coordination, candidate communications and offer administration.
  • Assist with HR data management, reporting and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Coordinate wellbeing initiatives, employee benefits administration and internal communications.
  • Support learning and development activities, including training administration, compliance tracking and reporting.
  • Manage HR inboxes, schedule meetings, prepare documentation and provide general administrative support to the HR team.

About You

  • At least 6 months‘ experience in an HR, recruitment or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
