Full-Time | HR Operations & Analytics | Mid-Senior Level

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail‑oriented HR Data & Project Manager to lead data governance, reporting, and cross‑functional HR initiatives across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of HR analytics, systems, project management, and operational excellence, ensuring that our people data is accurate, actionable, and leveraged to drive strategic decision-making.

You will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑impact projects, optimize HR processes, and elevate the firm’s data capabilities. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building structure, insights, and efficiency within a growing HR function.

Key Responsibilities

HR Data & Reporting

  • Own the integrity, governance, and accuracy of all HR data across systems and workflows.
  • Develop dashboards, analytics, and recurring reports to support workforce planning, compensation cycles, DEI metrics, and leadership insights.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data into meaningful narratives and recommendations.

HR Systems & Technology

  • Serve as a system administrator for HR platforms (HRIS, ATS, performance management tools, etc.).
  • Lead system enhancements, configuration updates, and integrations in partnership with IT.
  • Evaluate new HR technologies and support implementation and change management.

Project Management

  • Manage end‑to‑end HR projects, including process redesign, system rollouts, compliance initiatives, and annual HR cycles.
  • Build project plans, track milestones, manage stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the employee experience.

Process Optimization & Operations

  • Document and enhance HR processes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and policy updates.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve data flow, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in HR analytics, HR operations, HRIS management, or project management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using HR data tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience with HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, ADP, Greenhouse, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in financial services, investment management, or professional services is a plus.

Location

This role is based in New York City, with an expectation of in‑office presence aligned with firm guidelines.
