Role Overview
12 month FTC, Hybrid Working Pattern
As HR Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to partners, leadership, and business services teams, providing expert guidance across the full HR spectrum. You will play a key role in shaping the firm’s people strategy while ensuring operational excellence and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR business partner for designated practice groups and teams across UK and international offices.
- Lead on employee relations matters, ensuring best practice, compliance, and consistent outcomes.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, progression, and retention.
- Collaborate on firm-wide HR strategy, supporting initiatives in D&I, wellbeing, reward, and learning.
- Coach and support partners and managers on complex HR matters.
- Use HR analytics and reporting to identify trends and support informed decision‑making.
- Ensure UK employment law compliance while maintaining alignment with global HR policies.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven HR management experience within a law firm or international professional services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
