Sr. Director, Human Resources
Our client is a noted private investment firm with a varied global portfolio. They are seeking a skilled and strategic HR deputy to report into their global CHRO. This leader will focus on people management, while being accountable for further strategizing the workings of the HR function as a whole, as relates to the full employee lifecycle.
Suited candidates will come from small to midsized professional firms, ideally in the financial services space (but flexible). Ideal candidates have experienced employer environments known for the rigor and quality of their HR function, and that raise the bar in securing and engaging exceptional talent. This individual will have either have fully overseen or rotated through a wide array of HR specialty areas, and possess depth in talent and performance management, and extremely solid knowledge of HR compliance.
** This role is onsite 3-4 days per week in Fairfield County Connecticut**
Required experience includes:
- 15 or more relevant years of experience as an HR business partner or lead, with 7 or more of those including strategic leadership work
- Experience directly managing at least 2 experienced reports (this will manage a team of 3)
- Strong knowledge of the people function, from hiring to exit, as well as HR operational areas, onboarding, and talent management and development
- Highly knowledgeable in compliance, ideally with multistate experience, and solid employee relations
- Desire to anchor an HR team in a deputy capacity
- Ability to thrive in complex employer settings, intellectual curious, and with a high standard of personal excellence and accountability
