Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director for China and managing a team of HR professionals, the HR Director will be the trusted partner to the senior leadership team where he/she will conceptualise, advice and execute HR roadmap, strategies and initiatives to support their growth trajectory in China. As part of their HR transformation journey, the HR Director will support a culture of high performance in the organisation while establishing a best-in-class HR operational processes and policies to enable efficiency and optimization in its resources. This will include being a coach and mentor to the HR team to identify learning and stretch opportunities to continuously update HR capabilities and support to the business; being an advisor to a highly collaborative, impressive and forward-thinking leadership team, with a focus on offering a best in class service.

Amongst their HR strategies and projects, there continues to be a focus in their talent pool which includes talent retention, talent development, future/talent engagement and the talent „readiness“, to maintain their „Employer of Choice“ status in China.

The Successful Candidate

You should have at least 10 years of HR leadership experience with a track record of deploying high level HR strategies to support growth business. You are familiar with a fast-paced and matrix organization with proven abilities to be a coach and mentor. You are a skilled, culturally sensitive relationship builder to be able to engage people in a positive manner and invest time and energy into stakeholder management.

With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you should be a visionary and able to communicate your ideas in a way that builds alignment and support. Coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you are a persuasive communicator who is able to leverage data to effectively communicate HR initiatives to the leadership team and wider organisation.

Location: Shanghai, China. We can consider providing relocation allowances for overseas candidates.
