Looking for a role where you can genuinely influence how managers handle people issues? We’re seeking an experienced HR professional to lead on complex employee relations cases, shape HR policies, and build manager capability on a national scale for a leading engineering business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence and sensitive employee matters.
- Providing practical, risk-based advice to managers and leaders.
- Writing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and manager guidance.
- Creating toolkits, templates, process guides and supporting documentation.
- Designing and delivering engaging manager training on ER, policy and people management.
- Identifying ER trends and driving improvements across the employee experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience managing complex ER cases independently.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR policy.
- Experience drafting policies and creating manager guidance materials.
- A confident and engaging trainer, able to build manager capability through workshops and coaching.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence at all levels.
