Senior HR Business Partner
Senior HR Business Partner (EMEA)
Richmond
Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
6-Month FTC with Strong Potential to become Permanent
I’m delighted to be partnering with a global market-leading organisation that is undergoing an exciting transformation and has created a brand-new role as part of its evolving organisational structure.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join a highly complex, international matrix organisation and partner directly with senior leaders across the EMEA region. While initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, there is a clear vision from the business for this role to become permanent as the organisation continues to evolve.
This is not a traditional HR position. My client is seeking a commercially minded strategic HR leader who can operate at the intersection of people strategy, organisational effectiveness and business performance. You will be a trusted advisor to the EMEA leadership team, helping shape business outcomes through world-class people practices.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the leadership-facing HR team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures, influencing decisions that drive growth, transformation and organisational performance.
Given the international nature of the role, candidates must be able to demonstrate significant experience operating as a Strategic HR Business Partner across multiple EMEA markets, ideally within a global, complex and highly matrixed environment.
You’ll be equally comfortable operating at board-level discussions as you are leading the execution of critical people initiatives, ensuring business strategy is successfully translated into organisational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior EMEA leaders to align people strategy with commercial objectives and business priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, coach and challenger to executive stakeholders.
- Lead organisational design, workforce planning and capability-building initiatives.
- Drive large-scale transformation and change programmes across the EMEA marketplace organisation.
- Utilise people data, analytics and insights to support evidence-based decision making.
- Influence succession planning, leadership development and talent strategies.
- Collaborate closely with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver scalable and effective solutions.
- Support the organisation through ongoing growth, change and structural evolution.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience as a Senior HR Business Partner within a global organisation.
- Proven international HRBP experience with responsibility across multiple EMEA countries and markets.
- A strong track record of operating within complex, global matrix environments.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and challenge senior executives constructively.
- Deep expertise in organisational design, organisational effectiveness and business transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect people strategy directly to business performance.
- Analytical capability with experience using data and insight to shape decision making.
- Executive presence, credibility and confidence in high-profile stakeholder environments.
- Bachelor’s degree as a minimum, with a postgraduate qualification advantageous.
What’s on Offer
- Newly created, high-profile leadership role
- Opportunity to shape an evolving organisation during a period of transformation
- Significant exposure to senior international stakeholders
- Hybrid working model with 3 days per week in the Richmond office and 2 days working from home
- Initial 6-month FTC with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent appointment
- The opportunity to make a genuine impact in a globally recognised organisation
If you’re an experienced international HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, transformational environments and enjoys partnering with senior business leaders to drive performance and change across EMEA, I’d be delighted to speak with you.
