Director of HR
My client is a business that supports the medical profession, it includes a membership body and financial teams. They are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to join their executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping and delivering the People Strategy in alignment with the organisation’s values, culture, and long-term objectives.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Human Resources will play a central role in driving organisational performance through effective leadership of the HR, Payroll, and Learning & Development functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring that the organisation’s human capital is fully aligned with its strategic goals.
This role offers the opportunity to lead on key initiatives including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organisational change. The postholder will also oversee compensation and benefits, champion diversity and inclusion, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory standards.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior HR professional who will have reported into the CEO and partnered with the Executive team. You will be able to demonstrate your experience across the full HR lifecycle preferably within financial services, healthcare, or membership organisations.
You will be CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent), with a strong track record of developing and implementing people strategies that support business efficiency and growth. You will have managed a HR team and enjoy coaching and developing them. You will have exceptional communication and be driven by creating great culture and engagement.

Salary: £135,000 – £140,000 + benefits
Location: London, hybrid working 2 days per week
