HR Business Partner
Role: Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Location: New York, NY
In Office Schedule: 4 days in office
Compensation: Up to $200k base salary plus bonus
Our client is a well-established global alternative investment firm known for its entrepreneurial culture, high-performing teams, and continued growth. As the organization expands, they are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support the firm’s investment teams globally.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished HR Business Partner who enjoys operating close to the business, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving people initiatives within a high-performance environment.
As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a strategic HR partner to investment professionals and business leaders
- Coaching managers on performance, leadership development and employee engagement
- Driving talent management, succession planning and workforce planning initiatives
- Supporting compensation reviews, talent discussions and organizational effectiveness efforts
- Partnering with hiring managers and external search firms on recruitment strategy and headcount planning
- Identifying talent gaps and delivering development solutions to enhance leadership capability
- Utilizing data and business insights to inform people decisions and recommend actions
- Collaborating with the broader global HR team to deliver key HR programs and initiatives
- Supporting change management, culture initiatives and business growth objectives
Key requirements:
- 7+ years of HR experience within financial services, ideally in asset management, alternatives, private equity, credit or investment banking
- Proven HR Business Partner experience supporting senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to align people strategy to business goals
- Confident operating autonomously while building strong partnerships across the organization
- Strong judgment and the ability to navigate complex people matters with discretion
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, high-growth and evolving environment
- Collaborative, hands-on and willing to contribute across both strategic and operational HR initiatives
- Passion for talent development, leadership effectiveness and employee experience
