Organization Development Director

Location: Hong Kong

A pioneering global innovator in sustainable energy and industrial solutions is seeking an experienced Organization Development Director to lead transformative people strategies. This role is central to shaping organizational culture, enhancing leadership capability, and building workforce agility to support rapid business growth and long-term sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and implement organization development strategies that align with business objectives and future growth.
  • Organizational Design: Lead initiatives to optimize structures, processes, and workforce planning to ensure agility and scalability.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Build frameworks for leadership capability, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs.
  • Change Management: Drive organizational change programs, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new structures, processes, and systems.
  • Culture & Engagement: Champion initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and a high-performance culture.
  • Capability Building: Partner with business units to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted learning and development solutions.
  • Analytics & Insights: Use HR analytics to measure organizational effectiveness, track progress, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Global Collaboration: Partner with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency and scalability of OD practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in Organization Development.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or sustainability sectors preferred.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, proficient communications in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
  • Proven track record in organizational development, change management, Employee Engagement and leadership development.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate organizational needs into actionable OD strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in HR systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Agile, innovative, and globally minded leader with a passion for building future-ready organizations.
  • Welcome Chinese candidates relocation from Guangzhou area
