We are partnering with a highly regarded boutique law firm in London to appoint a Recruitment Manager to lead their end-to-end hiring strategy across both business services and fee-earning populations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collegiate, partner-led environment where you will have genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and the ability to shape and evolve the firm’s talent strategy.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Head of HR, you will take ownership of all lateral hiring across the firm, supporting both core business services functions and fee-earning teams, including Partner and senior lawyer recruitment.

Operating in a lean, collaborative environment, this role offers a broad remit with real influence-ideal for someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across business services and fee-earning teams
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders, including Partners, to define hiring requirements and drive best practice
  • Manage and deliver lateral hiring at all levels, including Partner recruitment
  • Develop and execute direct sourcing strategies to reduce agency reliance
  • Oversee and continuously improve recruitment processes, ensuring an excellent candidate experience
  • Manage external supplier relationships where required
  • Provide market insight, salary benchmarking and hiring data to inform decision-making

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in legal recruitment, covering both business services and fee-earner hiring
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing at Partner level
  • Strong direct sourcing capability with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance delivery and strategic input
  • Comfortable operating in a boutique or agile environment
