Reward & Benefits Consultant, London.
We’re acting for a thriving financial services business who are looking for an experienced Reward & Benefits Manager to join. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical delivery. Approximately 70% of the role focuses on benefits management across Europe, with the remaining 30% focused on compensation and reward activities, helping to ensure reward programmes remain competitive, compliant and well-governed. Reporting to the Director of HR, you’ll also work closely with others across HR, Finance and business leaders. Key duties:
Benefits – take the lead in the day-to-day management and development of European benefits programmes, including:
- Managing and continuously improving benefits offerings across multiple European countries.
- Coordinating annual benefits renewals and enrolment activities, including employee self-selection through Darwin.
- Working with external providers, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure programmes run smoothly and compliantly.
- Supporting the review of benefits to ensure they remain competitive, cost-effective and aligned to employee needs.
- Partnering with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit administration and resolve any related queries.
- Maintaining accurate records, governance documentation and controls.
- Ensuring benefit programmes comply with local legislation and applicable European collective bargaining agreements.
- Contributing to benefits projects, enhancements and employee communications.
Compensation – support the delivery and governance of compensation frameworks across Europe, including:
- Maintaining job evaluation and benchmarking frameworks using WTW methodologies.
- Analysing market data and supporting the development of salary structures and reward recommendations.
- Maintaining compensation data within Workday and ensuring data accuracy.
- Supporting annual salary and reward review processes.
- Producing reward analysis, reporting and insights for HR and business leaders.
- Supporting equal pay, gender pay gap and pay transparency initiatives.
- Monitoring market trends and relevant legislative developments.
- Assisting with retention and incentive programmes where required.
As a result, the business is looking to meet candidates who bring a blend of technical reward knowledge and a practical, collaborative approach, to include:
- Strong expertise in employee benefits and reward programmes.
- Experience working within both the UK and wider European locations.
- A solid understanding of compensation and benefits principles, governance and employment legislation.
- Experience managing annual reward and benefits cycles.
- Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson (WTW) job architecture and benchmarking methodologies.
- Experience using Workday or a similar HR system.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
