Role: University Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

In Office Schedule: 3 days on site

Compensation Range: $140-180k base plus bonus

They’re seeking a University Talent Acquisition Manager join their team as a player/coach. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Head of University Talent Acquisition to design and execute initiatives that attract top graduates and interns from leading universities. You’ll also manage and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring a high-performance, collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement through data and market insights.

As a University Talent Acquisition Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of university recruiters, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement a best-in-class university recruiting strategy.
  • Champion a quality-first approach to identifying and hiring top talent from global universities.
  • Use data and market insights to evaluate processes, identify improvements, and launch new initiatives.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for your own pipelines, including resume reviews, interviews, and offer execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create effective interviewing and closing strategies.
  • Represent the firm at campus events and on-site programs.
  • Stay informed on competitor trends and the evolving university recruiting landscape.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of university recruiting experience, including leadership roles.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel during peak recruiting seasons.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
