Payroll Coordinator
Payroll Coordinator – £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus – City of London
Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading law firm on the recruitment of a Payroll Coordinator on a permanent basis.
This role will support a manager and work in collaboration with the Accounting and HR teams.
Our client offers hybrid working – 3 days per week required into the office.
- Processing payroll compliance for all European offices.
- Accurate monthly input and validation of all payroll information to the online payroll system, ensuring that salaries are successfully processed within strict deadlines
- Ensuring payments comply with the various national and local pay arrangements.
- Monitoring US paid employees on the shadow UK payroll, including calculating Tax and NI Liability for the US Payroll to implement.
- Maintaining spreadsheets of Earnings, Tax & NI paid for each US associate ready for US tax returns. Liaising with the firm’s accountants during the year and at year end to ensure correct employees included on year-end filing and payments balance. Preparing and distributing P11D to US employees. Dealing with any queries.
- Dealing with any queries relating to Short Term Visitors‘ compliance.
- Processing, calculating and recharging overtime payments.
- Approving, processing and reconciling season ticket loans.
- Dealing with any manual payments and special requests in accordance with instructions from authorised managers and HR as appropriate
- Dealing with queries through to conclusion ensuring a high level of customer care and service delivery.
- Liaising as necessary with HMRC and the firm’s auditors.
- Working as a fully integrated member of the team, establishing good rapport.
- Helping and supporting other team members whenever appropriate.
- Keeping up to date with changing legislation relating to all aspects of payroll.
- Adhering to legislation and internal policies and procedures in all European offices.
- Undertaking any other tasks or responsibilities that reasonably fall within the remit of this post.
Skills needed:
- Strong UK payroll exposure
- ADP system experience
- Strong excel skills
