Recruitment Manager
Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next evolution of recruitment across the business. Managing one direct report, you’ll act as the bridge between leadership and the wider TA team, driving a more proactive approach to talent attraction, market mapping and candidate engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring leaders across the business to deliver best-in-class recruitment solutions.
- Coach and develop the TA team, raising capability and introducing new sourcing approaches.
- Build talent pipelines and networks for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct market mapping and proactively engage high-calibre talent.
- Develop talent communities and create a strong presence within relevant talent markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on recruitment strategy and hiring trends.
- Drive improvements to recruitment processes, candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
- Support the Head of Talent Acquisition with workforce planning and talent attraction initiatives.
About You
You’re a proactive and commercially minded recruitment professional who enjoys getting ahead of hiring needs rather than reacting to them. Naturally curious and relationship-driven, you love networking, identifying talent and building long-term pipelines. You’re confident influencing stakeholders and have the credibility to challenge and shape hiring strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search.
- Strong sourcing, market mapping and networking capability.
- Experience building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring recruiters is advantageous.
- Background in retail, hospitality, leisure, consumer-facing businesses or recruitment agencies would be highly desirable.
- Passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with regular time spent on-site and building relationships across the business.
