Title: Learning & Development Coordinator

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: Approximately 3 months (subject to monthly review and potential extension)

Schedule: Full-Time Temporary

Position Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Learning & Development Coordinator to provide administrative support to a Human Resources Learning & Development function during a transitional period.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 1-2 years of administrative, HR, training coordination, or related experience who enjoys organization, process management, and supporting employee development initiatives.

The position will play a key role in coordinating training activities, maintaining learning records, supporting compliance reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the Learning & Development team.

While this assignment is expected to be temporary, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and learning events
  • Prepare and set up training rooms, materials, and participant resources
  • Maintain training records, attendance documentation, and learning databases
  • Assist with compliance-related reporting and training tracking
  • Generate and update reports using Excel and other tracking tools
  • Monitor and organize learning documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support scheduling, communications, and participant registrations for learning programs
  • Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development team
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects and departmental initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, HR, training coordination, or related support role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Comfortable working with data tracking, reporting, and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and customer-service oriented approach
