The Middle East HR Excellence Awards Winner Interviews 2017
In November 2017, Frazer Jones Middle East proudly sponsored and attended the HR Summit and Expo held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai. As part of the HR Summit and for the 4th year running Frazer Jones sponsored The Middle East HR Excellence Awards 2017.
The Middle East HR Excellence Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals, departments, teams or an organisation that have contributed to the growth and development of the Middle East HR Industry.
The awards showcase the best HR talent in the Middle East and honour HR professionals in government and the private sector for their outstanding contributions in creating a high performing workforce for the future. It was great to meet many familiar faces of the HR fraternity across the Middle East at the HR Excellence Awards and as the industry grows, so does the need to reward industry leaders and innovators in a variety of industry categories.
Huge congratulations go to all of the winners on the night, those who won the Mark of Excellence Awards and those who were shortlisted as part of the nomination criteria.
I caught up with some of the winners on the night which included:
- Sriram Rajan – Head of OD & Talent, SIG Combibloc, who won the Mark of Excellence for HR Professional of the Year and also was a Winner for Most Innovative Programme for Executive & Leadership Development – SIG Combibloc.
- Shabana Faizal, Vice Chairperson, KEF Holdings who won the Mark of Excellence Award for Employer of the Year on behalf of KEF Holdings
- Aakash Mehta, Regional Talent Rewards Leader Middle East Africa, Mastercard who won the HR’s rising Star Award.
